Just bumping this thread back up - I am in need of a plumber (hopefully) nothing to major.

Water flow problems on cold side upstairs, downstairs is fine but cold taps and cold shower side is poor.

This post recommended Clive (is that Clive Coomber?) and Ellis but no getting through.

Its an old post so i would be grateful for any recommendations or contact details

Before calling a plumber have you tried screwing small mesh filter on end of tap. I done this recently and flow came back. Mesh can get clogged with limescale and shower head holes . Worth a try

Tried that - its just poor flow (nearly nil) on the cold side,with good flow on the hot,


Bizarrely, good flow on the cold side downstairs with poor flow on the hot.

Tap sink is flat out o both cold and hot ! 

Just dont follow the logic
