Thanks John I hope so too. I only went to the shop for some bread it was closed but the estate agents was open. We're buying one by the GA centre.

I suppose it would be noisy if it was a very busy urbanisation/passage way. But the gate is used I'd say 2-3 times an hour. You can only hear it you don't have the TV or music playing.
