La Sidreria Santa Pola

After one of the mates sampled the above twice in recent months eight of us went down today for lunch.....we all agreed the best menu del dia we had sampled in the area.
For starters we had three large platters of tuna and potatoe salad, slates of ham empanadas and a selection of cold meats and cheese.....I was feeling full already.....they offered four or five different main courses, between us we sampled the range....all very good, I had the beef and cider stew, it was gorgeous
Three platters of cakes came out for dessert followed by, for a change, a good cup of coffee, I find quite a lot of places serve terrible coffee, the obligatory liquors came out, €12 a head including a drink, well worth a visit.

Regards all
