TV Recording

Hi everyone,
 Need a little advice - normally come over to GA for a few weeks so TV not a great priority whilst here but now coming over for a few months and would like the option of being able to record various tv programmes if need be.We have the system fitted by GATV which basically supplies us with TV programmes and WIFI so would like to know if there is anything we can buy ourselves or do we have to buy from GATV people themselves?
