You know your birds kira, I love a wonder round The Clot spotting all the wildlife, although I’m not sure what it all is.
I did the Sunday morning guided tour with the rangers a few years ago it was brilliant.
I was the only one who turned up, I was given the full “works”, they even took me into one of the old bunkers to see all the bats roosting. They also knew the best spots to watch the lizards coming out into the sun to warm their bodies up.
A great area on our doorstep

Regards all

“Other Half” knows his birds.....I do the typing!!
Will have to make the ranges tour next on the list!!
That purple gallinule was an amazing bird......30cm tall! very purple! pulling up rhizomes right in front of the viewing area,  could have watched for ages!

Is the rangers tour in English or Spanish?

It’s in Spanish juliet, but they were more than pleased to try their English out on me.
They provide binoculars and books to check out what you see, it’s free of charge
Currently there is an exhibition of photographs taken on The Clot
