We looked on that urb about 5 years ago. Lots of Spanish (which is great). Yes the location is good but the apartment was very dark, they all looked pretty similar in that respect, lots of dark wood about and the grounds were in need of a face lift.  Real shame about that rendering.  Im not sure if it has improved that much?

Suggest whoever you buy from can see you through all the paperwork properly and they speak good English and Spanish.. Try Sonia at www.Costa blanca beach homes.com. she sold to us 15 years ago and still keeps in contact. Very reliable

Costa Hispania is one of the older urbs but very close to beach/ bars and nature reserve. The rendering is a real dust trap though and can soon look untidy. The complex itself has improved a lot in the past few years with garden work taking place and maintenance of pools.  Interiors may also need updates.

More Questions, and I appreciate all the comments but many of you have already done what we are about to so why not pick your brains ?

Costa Hispania community ! Now I assume looking at the pictures ( and the strange looking render on the buildings ) that this is one of the older areas, but location looks great. Would love to hear from anybody on here who has a property on there and can give us some insight into it ?

More general, opening a Spanish Bank Account. I'm assuming were going to need one so how easy will it be to open and what will we need ? We have a uk Santander account so is it going to be easiest for us to just stroll into the Santander at the commercial centre ( any feedback on hours of business would be useful ) and open a Spanish account with them ? and if so, what are we likely to need because at this point we won't yet own a Spanish property or have a Spanish address ?

Thanks again in advance, Dave

I see good old Google Translate is as accurate as ever  :)

Seriously though, this will be bound to create queues and delays at peak times. hopefully they will get it sorted as quickly as they expect!

You can get Vegan in G A. Just ask the restaurant. Try La Pallets.

We saw that yesterday and Mrs H said she fancied going when we are out next month, I said it’ll have closed down by now!!
How wrong was I, a quick look on Trip Advisor shows it’s still there and getting brilliant reviews

Regards all

Been watching New Life In The Sun and must admit a bit envious of Javea getting a vegan restaurant.  Does anyone know if there is a vegan restaurant in the surrounding areas of GA or is it going to be a trip to Javea.  Wonder if something like that would work in GA.

I’m totally addicted to shows like that, shame they never go back in a few years and see if they are still in business.
