Yes there is,there are a couple of play areas also a cafe & a small waterway where you can hire a boat.During the summer it gets very warm & humid in the park.

It's about 5 years since we visited there.  As I remember there is no easy access by car from the GA direction.  We had to go well past on the dual carriageway, almost into Alicante and then turn around at some traffic lights.  There were no direction signs.  Hopefully the access has changed by now.

Study a satellite picture of the roads before attempting to get there.

There has been extensive roadworks on the stretch of dual carriageway that passes the park; it's about 8weeks since I last passed so I don't know if the works included access to the park from the GA direction.
If there is no new access then as Keith says you have to pass the entrance, go up and over the road incline as it goes over the railway keeping in the right lane, on the down slope towards the next set of lights (500m approx) take the right filter lane and wait at the lights until they change to let you cross the dual carriageway and then double back on yourself.
Turn right at the first lights after going back over the railway and then immediately left to run up to the park entrance and the parking area.
As Keith says check it out on street view first if you can.

Those roadworks are all completed and gone. This is Spain!

We were there yesterday and we thought that we would have to travel up to the traffics lights as described but in the end we actually turned left at the traffic lights which are situated just at the end of the park onto a side road, turned around at a parking area, which then allows you to turn right at traffic lights onto the slip road immediately in front of the park. Hope that makes sense.
