Pretty good NickiH. Food is to a decent standard, nice people without being OTT. Food tasted fresh and menu choice is as good as anywhere for that type of food.

Pricing is excellent and probably the cheapest Chinese / Asian eateries in GA that I have tried.

Duck roll and Dim Sun starter, Black bean Chicken with noodles and Thai Green Curry with rice plus a bottle of drinkable house rose was E28 for the two of us

I thought it was OK, but not as good as Marisotas Kitchen which has the best menu and flavours.

As long as you can ignore all the dog crap and half empty bottles strewn around in the car park outside!

Id be well concerned only paying 7.95 fof 3 courses and drink, the quality of ingredients must be pretty poor.
They dont like it up em !

We went for the first time last night and have to say we were very impressed by the decor, food and especially the attentiveness of the staff.

I had set myself up for a chow mein but there wasn't one on the menu but they did me one anyway and it was superb.

Cost was €29.20 for two main meals, one side, two deserts and a bottle of wine. All served with smiles all round. Not at all like most of the glum Chinese staff in the local bazzars.

Not sure of the quality of the raw materials but the end product was very satisfactory - we have added it to our list of venues.

Tried it whilst we were over. Very nice and quite busy.  Prefer the duck pancakes in Gran Mundo tho

I wonder if the Chinese places have their own equivalent of "Kings Foods". It seems very likely to me. I suppose they just buy the whole lot in frozen and we eat the exact same stuff in every local restaurant and convince ourselves it's different. Or do you suppose they make fresh pork balls? I really don't know. But it's "food for thought" ;)

Ciello Largo, what a pleasant surprise
We gave it a go today for lunch rather than our default Nan King, I’m glad we did.
We were greeted by the young man and his wife who have worked at the Nan King for years, with beaming faces they told us that it was their restaurant
How fantastic, from working as waiters for years to having their own place.
We both chose from the €8.95 menu del dia and it was very good.
Will now be our default choice.

Regards all from a hot and sunny GA

John

Visited Ceillo Largo last night for the first time with friends. Had a great meal. Decor spot on and the food first class. It will now be my first choice of restaurant for Chinese food.
